Short Biography:
I am a Board-Certified Music Therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area. My research areas include: music and dementia, music and epilepsy, and social justice in music therapy education and clinical training.
Clinically, as a Board-Certified Music Therapist, I work directly with seniors with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia on numerous non-musical goals (e.g., communication skills, gross motor skills, cognitive skills). I have two research projects investigating the efficacy of music therapy when working with individuals with neurodegenerative disorders.
