Short Biography
I am a dedicated music therapist with a master’s degree from New York University (NYU), where I gained extensive clinical experience. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), I employed songwriting, improvisation, lyric analysis, and drumming to support patients in coping with the emotional and physical challenges of cancer. At Bronx Lebanon Hospital, I facilitated individual and group sessions for patients dealing with issues such as sexual abuse, substance dependency, and domestic violence, while also helping adolescents at the Child Study Center express their experiences through music.

Currently, I work as a music therapist at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, focusing on improving the well-being of children through music. Additionally, I serve as the Project Manager for the Music & Dementia Research Network at UCSF, where I am involved in advancing research on the therapeutic benefits of music in dementia care.

I am passionate about using music as a healing tool and am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those I serve.
